Peter Lendon is a respected bookbinder with over 40 years experience
The book binding ranges from Family Bibles, Colonial bindings, Magazine Binding,
Artists folders, Albums of all sorts, Newspapers, Diary and Appointment Books,
Simple Art pieces, Mountings, Journals and one offs
including Family History short runs
Peter also repairs just about anything in the bookline; once he even fixed the leather
stitching on a favourite shoe for a customer!
He puts a lot of thought into each job and believes that in some cases less is more,
especially with regard to very old or rare books,
and will sometimes just make a special box
Slip cases and archival boxes are another area where he excels
Peter also rebinds favourite or rare paperback books with a special method he devised
Peter has a great raport with his customers and really enjoys meeting people who often
become friends and return frequently
Peter does not bind university theses as the turn around time is too short
and there are companies who attend to this very well
